The next (very small) update will give some serious improvements to the eyes, thanks to Valves current vortigaunt-eye shader. This shader is perfect for human eyes after some little tweaks.

The eyes are rendered with raytracing for correct refraction and full-scene reflection (not simple cubemaps),

The eyes now have correct lacrimal fluid (seen at the picture, where Alyx looks down)

It looks fantastic as always, but I think in the first screens the eyes have a little too much reflection.

The last screens are more realistic. (Just my opinion)

I'm surprised Valve hasn't hired you guys yet. Some real creative and quality work to make the Source engine beautiful than ever before. Can't wait to see it when it's finished.
